Data Retention and Deletion
How Long We Keep Your Data
We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by applicable law and regulation. The following retention periods apply:
  • Active account data: Retained for the duration of your account with PriceLOCQ and for up to five (5) years after account closure, to comply with legal, tax, and financial record-keeping obligations.
  • Transaction records (fuel purchases, redemptions, payment history): Retained for a minimum of five (5) years in accordance with Philippine tax and financial regulations.
  • Marketing preferences and communication logs: Retained for up to five (5) years from your last interaction with us, or until you withdraw consent, whichever is earlier.
  • Customer support and complaint records: Retained for up to five (5) years from the resolution of the matter.
  • Technical/device logs and cookies: Retained for up to three (3) years from collection.
Once the applicable retention period expires, or once data is no longer necessary for any legal or business purpose, we will securely delete or anonymize your personal data.
How to Request Deletion of Your Data
You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data held by LOCQ, INC through account deletion, you may:
  • Submit a request through the PriceLOCQ app (navigate to Account > Account Management > Delete Account)
  • Contact us through our official PriceLOCQ Facebook page
Your request should include your full name and the mobile number or email address registered with your PriceLOCQ account. We will acknowledge your request within five (5) business days and complete the deletion within thirty (30) calendar days, subject to verification and any legal retention obligations.
Please note that we may be required to retain certain data even after your deletion request, including transaction records required by law, data needed to resolve open disputes or enforce our Terms of Use, and data needed to comply with legal or regulatory requirements. In such cases, we will inform you of what data we are unable to delete and the reason why.
